
As the latest installment of the quirky Versus series, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite wouldn’t live up to tradition if it didn’t have some silly tactics lurking within its code. Capcom’s team-based fighting franchise is as chaotic as it is beloved. Past games have had infinite combos and assist-heavy setups that make avoiding damage nearly impossible. Despite its name, that’s not all going to fly in Infinite.

A surprise 35GB update for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite dropped seven years after the last patch, without any explanation from Capcom.

Piss poor quality control, uninspired art direction, day one character dlc and no X-Men characters but don't worry boys, we're aiming to prevent endless combos! The irony here is that in response to poor sales of SF5, Capcom's CEO said that in future they'd allow more development time for games that need it yet this game is so blatantly being rushed.
That's why it's called "Infinite", every characters going to have a broken ass MVC3 infinite combo that sucks all the enjoyment and skill out of the game.
