The new Beyond mod for the Steam (PC) version of Capcom's fighting game, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, has achieved 50,000 downloads.

Capcom's crossover fighting game, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, has seen a resurgence on Steam following the release of the Beyond mod.
This game already has too many controversial elements going on
have yet to see or feel this positive buzz, this game will flop hard
Capcom should consider themselves lucky Dragon Ball FighterZ isn't coming out around the same time.
All signs point to it being a flop. The uninspired art direction, horrible disparity in character models, no X-Men characters, horrific story demo and lack of quality control in general will keep away the general gaming market which would otherwise take interest because of the Marvel characters. That would leave the FGC to prop it up and even there the opinion is overwhelmingly negative plus unlike with Street Fighter, Mahvel has never been popular in the Eastern market which will effect sales. Only people will be buying this game will be Capcom fighting game die hards who would probably be buying it regardless of overall quality.
