ELEX studio Piranha Bytes has said that although Xbox One X’s price tag is reasonable for what it offers, a PlayStation 4 Pro price drop could be troublesome for the console.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

I think I have seen this one before.
Pro price drop= Difficult time for 1x
If Sony offers price drops and bundles it certainly won't help. But the consoles problems are way deeper than that.
Outside of hardcore Xbox fans no one wants the thing to begin with. It's the most expensive console on the market, made by a company with a track record of not supporting their consoles with games. And comments by Phil (after showing the same games they have been showing since 2014) stating the reason they didn't show games at E3 was because their games are 2-3 years out certainly doesn't help.
Who would buy a $500 console when the head of the division tells them there won't be new games for 2-3 years?
It's going to be largely a niche console, and yeah, a Pro price drop certainly won't help that. I think Microsoft knows it's going to be niche, and have the correct expectations, but I'm not sure some of the Xbox uber fans do. They seem to think it's going to be some game changing console that turns the tide of the console war, and that just isn't going to happen, not even close. Too often people fall victim to the hype. Just buy what looks good to you, but keep your expectations in check, I say.
PSPRO price drop = XboneX DOA
