Xbox One X – Better than PC?

When developers start a new game, they develop it for console first. It’s usually the lowest common denominator and, let’s face it, that's where it will sell the most units. After it has been developed for console, the game is ported to PC.

PC slightly wins. I have a GTX 1080ti and it achieves at least 50fps steady on most games at 4k. 4k really is a b**** right now to achieve even on the PC with a steady frame rate above 60fps without any drops on every game. At least until PC drops a gpu stronger than the GTX 1080Ti. Now maybe sli GTX 1080ti is better but I heard its a waste of money

That's at high to ultra, there is the difference. X will be medium at best (more like medium textures and low shadows and lighting) and 30 FPS for most big games. That's the difference.

JHippy, sorry but you must be very ignorant. Trying to argue your way to make Xbox similar to some of the most powerful gaming PCs makes you look extremely stupid

JHippy50003177d ago

The Brave Loser. Im ignorant and stupid for posting you facts in an article showing you the power of the xb1x running on a SINGLE gpu at over 4k at 60fps pretty impressive for a console, can you even read? The most powerful pcs have more than one gpu, so on that note you sound ignorant and stupid.

"Im ignorant and stupid for posting you facts in an article showing you the power of the xb1x running on a SINGLE gpu at over 4k at 60fps pretty impressive for a console"

Wrong, once again ignorant

"PC slightly wins."

This is what I was talking about. If you had read my initial post, it wouldn't be hard to figure out. Xbox One X is no match to a powerful gaming PC and to say that PC only "slightly" wins is what makes you look very stupid.

Bigpappy3176d ago

Some do. Most don't. X1X is very powerful

When facts are dead in a fanboys face it hurts

trooper_3176d ago

PC doesn't slightly win. It decimates the XBX. Sorry, your facts are weong.

Better than a PC of the same price.

Brave_Losers_Unite3177d ago

Better than an Xbone by over 10,000 more games from steam, free online play, and the inclusion of the Xbone game library

Lennoxb633177d ago

But on a $500 PC you'll barely be able to play anything at console quality. Ori and Inside maybe. Maybe the odd MMO here and there.

Razzer3176d ago

Exactly right. You cannot build a PC for $500 that will outperform One X. That is simply reality.

Allsystemgamer3176d ago

not 500. But you can for 550 -600 depending on the day.

feraldrgn3176d ago

The PC does more things, so you're paying for that.

The trailer is a bit underwhelming, but the graphics are great! I will wait for more gameplay videos.
