Atari is “back in the hardware” business, according to CEO Frederic Chesnais.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Yes PS4, Xb1 competitior?
lol, Atari almost killed the games industry once, I'm sure they're keen to finish the job this time round.
Interested to find out more about this. Hopefully it turns out to be more than just another "classic" edition console. Don't get me wrong, I loved my 2600 when I was a kid but I don't feel like revisiting Pong, Space Invaders or Pitfall anytime soon. Kind of wish I still had my copy of ET though, after all the turmoil around it.
I mean.. an all in one Atari that could play 2600, 5200 and 7800 games. Hell throw in Jaguar support because... because I said so?? It's just so crazy it might work :P
I'd buy one for sure
Atari is just hankering to go bankrupt again. They barely cut it as a third party, now they think they have a chance to be a hardware manufacturer again?
Hell even Sega has a better chance at reentering the hardware market.
