I don't know. I kind of get the feeling FFVIIR is going to be launched cross-gen with PS5... I mean, it makes sense. There is a TON of work that needs to go into the game. Hundreds of Materia to balance, balancing battle mechanics, really long story, fighting styles for like 9 different characters, etc. It was announced too damn early. They should have announced it this year for the 20th anniversary, and released it in 2019-2020.

At this point I'm thinking why not just do it cross-gen with PS5? I mean if it's released in 2019 what's the hurt in delaying it a few months or a year so it has an option for far greater graphics? And we'd have less time between episodes. It only makes sense imo- just focus on KH3 for PS4 and launch FFVIIR cross-gen with PS5. Just my view.

Those games probably won't be released until 2019-2020,so there's really no reason to talk about it until they're almost completed in development.
