I wish we got to see more games announce bit Mario looks good, cross play with rocket league is awesome and Pokemon and metriod game announce is great. I just wish we got to see some video on those.

Mainline Pokemon game and Metroid Prime 4 are two major announcements that have me very excited. I'm also hyped for portable Rocket League. Mario Odyssey gameplay looks great. The Yoshi game looks like a fun platformer. Same with Kirby. I'll probably get Fire Emblem Warriors because I love Dynasty Warriors.

Best showing of E3 as far as I'm concerned, along with Ubisoft. MS and Sony didn't bring their A game this year.

The announcement of Metroid Prime 4 alone has me really excited. And that showing of Mario Odyssey was great.

My expectations have been set. Don't let me down, Nintendo! Great start so far!

2 new Metroid games. Nintendo just won.

Nintendo is my favorite this year. Loved the games that were shown, and i cannot wait for a proper Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4 on the Switch. Those 2 games will continue to sellout Switch consoles when they release.

Nintendo's show was safe they basically showed off stuff they usually have that their fans want.

Nintendo will obviously have exclusives considering they have a 11-13 year lead on MS and Sony but the console is underwhelming, and too gimmicky. After the PS2 I think the Playstation has surpassed the Nintendo as the best gaming platform. For the last couple of gens Nintendo has shipped a limited # of consoles to increase customer demand. Nintendo knows that once ppl have a Switch, they'll get bored easily! I expect Mario and Zelda, and Pokémon to be good games year in and year out but eventually we grow up and no matter how good a Mario game is, you just outgrow it! I mean what is this, the 27th Mario game since the launch of the Nintendo? Geez!!!!!!

The presentation was nice and pretty concise.
But damn it was short and left me wanting to see more.

It is great seeing the excitement from Nintendo gamers. Watching their E3 conference right now. Looks to be a good time for all gamers.

Still no SSB4 announcement for the switch. It's very disappointing.

Okay, now the mystery of Scorpio has been resolved, I am happy to see these awesome looking Nintendo titles drop. Looks like it will be Switch over Scorpio for me.

My God, Mario looked immense

For me Nintendo "won" e3, but barely (Nintendo>Sony>MS>Ubi >EA=Bethesda is my personal opinion on how things went).

To think they basically announced or showed a new game for every month leading into the new year and several 2018 games as well all in a 25 minute video was insane. Even without showing Pokémon and Metroid but simply confirming them struck a cord with me. Something else shown would had been better, but now we know they're coming.

Those 2 games are huge and although we didn't see any of them, I think they're serious games that people will be considering for quite some time. Not just consumers either.

It's almost like telling third parties "here we are, come join us" as they have huge followings that could cement the Switch as a potential success if they're as good as they're predecessors. Pokémon though? A core game on tv for the first time? Plus on the go? If it doesn't get publishers seriously thinking "maybe we should make something for the Switch now" then nothing will. It won't somehow make the Switch powerful enough to run some of their games but they might look into something exclusive or at least able to run on it now.

It doesn't mean Switch's success will be a walk in the park, but it's almost guaranteed it's well on the way to going back to how things should be and it won't be another Wii U scenario for Nintendo for sure if they can keep up that kind of momentum.

I still want to see more third party support though, and think this e3 made it that much more likely we will actually see some later on down the road.

Plus both Mario games look great. A Mario Rabbids had me worried a little (or at least apprehensive) but this one looks better than I could ever have hoped for.

Regardless of the third party situation... Mario makes knack 2 and that MS fox game seem embarrassing by comparison.
But logo reveals are weak sauce. Retro aren't even making prime 4 so you have no idea what that game will be like.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
