
From Microsoft’s perspective, the Xbox One X, the new console built to take advantage of the rapid growth of 4K televisions, is a luxury item. Its diminutive shell contains an abundance of RAM, teraflops, and other expensive bits. For that reason, $499 is a logical price for Microsoft to go with, but it isn’t a competitive one.

It is worth the $500 easily. Regardless of launch lineup being Crackdown 3 and Forza 7. They still will have tons of games running at native 4K and improved visuals in that launch lineup.
Microsoft is still in a very strong position with Xbox One X.
They have lots of support for it.
pretty sure there are many things that contribute to the $100. Faster CPU, GPU, more memory, UHD drive..
I mean I think it's fair to say it doesn't need explaining..
Whether or not it's justified is the main question.
More than worth.
People just mention 4K. Yet forget to mention it will have 4K AND better graphics, fx, antialiasing, etc.
