To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

To be fair, there are also human made games that release and lack any fun at all either.
Guild Wars 2 been playing for 14yrs, 1st beta. This is just one company I support, Arenanet and NCSoft, even though I torrent, there are a few PC companies I will buy from. "PlayStation’s Horizon MMO spin-off, Horizon Steel Frontiers." I feel this will be good, NCSoft is a good developer/publisher.
It’s a tool. Use it elevate things and get it done faster. I’m sorry but not every game made by humans is good. If this can help things, then I fully embrace it.
I don't know what conference every youtuber out there saw, but the EA conference was utter trash. I checked out a few reviews and reactions and they all seem like they were paid off. The show was embarrassingly bad. If you were to get a stop watch, the talking to gameplay ratio would be probably 60/40 in favor of talking, and the talking was so boring. Some stupid guys from espn trying to do standup for 10 minutes, some youtuber stuck in front of the camera looking like a deer in headlights. Then you got the awful stage presence, they were literally at the back of the room beyond the audience, who were facing an empty stage, and the hosts were talking to a camera like it was a damn interview. You can even see the bored audience refusing to turn to see what the hell was going on knowing it wasn't worth the effort of turning their heads.
A way out looked cool and that was pretty much all that was worthwhile.
It was about as boring as I expected. Maybe a little more. But A Way Out looked pretty cool.
So many cringe moments in that conference. Now lets see if Microsoft can out cringe them.
No it was savy. It was terrible like every year. They talk more and show less, they really dont need an E3 to be honest. But look on the bright side at least microsofts not far now
Yer I agree with most people here the EA conference was a train wreck. I tuned in for FIFA 18 and Battlefront personally and I was left disappointed. Last year I somewhat enjoyed EA's conference. This year was so boring and at times uncomfortable to watch.
Burnout I mean Need for Speed looked ok I guess. Who was this youtuber by the way? Never heard of him and he seemed like he was just thrown in front of the camera and told to say something. The co-op game looked fun. FIFA I was hoping for some sort of gameplay instead all I saw was some info about Ronaldo and 2 clowns I have never heard of come on stage and did a thing.
Battlefront presentation was ok I guess free DLC is nice. But it just looked like battlefront that was released 2 years ago. In all it was just a waste of time to be honest. Another annoying this I was there to see FIFA as I mentioned. But talked about some improvements without showing anything and told me to check out another show on the 12th to see more. Why didn't they just show it off there ffs.
