One idea for a Plus change would be to offer the choice of not downloading any of the free games in exchange for a dlc premium pack or season pass etc of equivelant cost of our choice.

One other change would be to offer just one AAA game.

Another idea would be to give us the choice to opt out of the monthly free offerings in exchange for a time-limited (during the same month) discount of say 25-40% on any product of our choosing.

I don't think you understand how the system works. Companies have to agree on terms before they become Plus games. They can't just let people pick whatever they want each month or Sony would go out of business. You are expecting way too much from your $5 a month. 25% off anything?? AAA game a month?....don't think there are many season passes for your $5. Your ideas are unrealistic....it's $5 dollars!!!!!

Um... the user base and game numbers don't support this yet.

Although the PS3 is no longer being manufactured, the install base is still there.

Majin-vegeta3286d ago

Umm that's onlynin japan...everyeheree else it's still being manufactured

zivtheawesome3286d ago

nah manfacturing stopped anywhere else in the world long ago, japan was the last one. why do you think japan was the only country that still released ps3 ports of games?

rainslacker3286d ago

There are still new PS3's to be had. I don't know if they stockpiled them in the supply chain, but I know distributors still seem to have them and get restocks from time to time.

Are a bunch of games, some of which are nearly 10 years old not one being from 2026. Barely one from 2025.

I do like the irony of the closing paragraph though, "Why VR Adventure Games are Thriving". Really buddy?

mooreneco2157d ago

That’s because it’s his favourite VR adventure games thus far, a great game always a great game regardless of age - Half life 2/ Ocarina of time - are old but still among the greatest games of all time. The irony of it is several are from last year, depending on platform, have you even played VR?
