April 2017 is the 2nd month that the Nintendo Switch has been available for. During the latest month the gap grew in favor of the PlayStation 4 by 1.33 million units. After two months the Switch is currently behind the PlayStation 4 by 1.00 million units.

If this is accurate, then the point about launch hype + Zelda hype is accurate; it had a strong launch, but it's already rapidly falling behind the DS, Wii, and PS4. Doesn't look like it's high sales are going to last much longer. God help this thing once the holiday third party titles roll around.
Id compare salesto vita and 3ds more then ps4 or xbox.
