This is good news and shouldve happened a long time ago. Come on dig deep. There were a lot of good games to pick from or ones that could use a reboot.

Crash flopped? Lol I don't even think you were born when it was out being playstations mascot. Crash bandicoot is a game even casuals knew....
While I liked blinx and was unaware it did bad let not compare the two.

I liked Blinx but saying it's no more of a flop compared to Crash is dumb, Crash 1 outsold both Blinx games by over 6 million let alone all the other games in the series.

I've been saying this for awhile. There will be more exclusive XB1/Scorpio games coming. Some with be original new IP's and other will be sequel/remasters of older IP's. There will be PC exclusives as well.

I'd love to see Microsoft bring back some of their sports games like NBA Inside Drive, Links, Rallysport Challenge, NFL Fever, etc.. Then give us some of the older better titles like Crimson Skies, Age of Empire, Midtown Madness, Freelancer, MechAssault, Blinx, Battletoads, Perfect Dark, etc...

Wouldn't it be massively cheaper to just buy and old xbox?
Why do they refuse to make new games or brand new sequals to old games. Why flood this generation with old games?...now even older games.....whyy!!!
Hell do both but bring new stuff for the love of god.

They will do both. Bring new IP's and revist popular older IP's. How many remasters and sequels have Sony made for the PS4 from older games? Most of the new IP exclusives on PS4 have come from 3rd party. Nier: Automata, NioH, Gravity Rush, Ni No Kuni 2, Kingdom Hears 1.5-2.8, . Microsoft needs to get their own 3rd party exclusives.

How can it be done right if it's already been done. The two games didn't leave a significant impression on the industry and Microsoft isn't going to have a third entry in a forgotten series

Voodoo Vince and Phantom Dust were better received than Blinx. Microsoft knows better than to revisit such polarizing series.

Voodoo Vince has a 73 on Metacritic, while Blinx: The Time Sweeper has a 71. Voodoo Vince was likely only brought back, due to Phil Spencer considering it to be his favorite OG Xbox game.
