Microsoft's failure to capture the Japanese market with Xbox began and ended with its lack of RPGs, or so the story goes.
That problem was addressed with Xbox 360 as Square Enix, Triace, Sega and others all chipped in with their respective efforts. Xbox 360 isn't short of a decent RPG now but which one is the best?

I've been wanted to revisit the game in the back of my mind for years and this is big. There's still a good handful of 360 games locked to the system I'd love to see now that the seal is broken on decompiling these games.

How Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 continues the legacy of Japanese RPGs that halted with Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360.
I bought an XB360 to play this game. I also played other gems like Blue Dragon, Gears of War, and ES: Oblivion but Lost Odyssey was the precursor and one of the best jRPGs ever.
Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer would like to see the revival of Xbox's Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey Crimson Skies, and more.
What these games need are remasters and to modern platforms. They're all unfortunately stuck on the 360.
Then…remaster / remake them
🤷🏻♂️
After renewed interest you can get Mistwalker to do a sequel to Lost Odyssey
The White Knight will stamp them down with his Giant Boot of Awesomeness.
Still.. i like Infinite Undiscovery, Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey.. q_q
BUT ! White Knight Story is going to be bigger than Star Ocean 4 could be.
Uhh i said it... @_@
