Let's go Assassin's Creed Origins

yellowgerbil3261d ago

nice to see they have a new ip. are they still fighting off that hostile take over by daily motion?

zerocarnage3261d ago

it's Vivendi, not daily motion. And I think yeah they're still having problems which is a pee take and Vivendi need to stop, I hate them for the way they approach companies. Ubisoft are my fav publisher and I would not touch there games if Vivendi took over.

yellowgerbil3261d ago

My mistake. Daily motion was taken over by Vivendi in the same way that they are trying to do with Ubisoft.
Ubisoft is far from my favorite publisher but they have a personality about them that is endearing and would suck to see that destroyed by a big corporation taking them over.
As for actual games South Park is the only one I really like but I don't want to see them go the way of THQ or so many of the others we've lost this past decade

new Trials for the conference exclusive

No Aisha?

Promise me no cringey dance numbers and I may just watch.

Nodoze3261d ago

That is a GOOD thing. She is a NOT someone I would ever want representing a company. I mean it is all so forced and awkward. Frankly the only reason she is even there is a double check mark for diversity.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit7d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing7d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster927d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
