Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

Dear team,
Xbox has always been different.
We started with a simple idea. Games should bring people together through shared experiences. That led to the first Xbox in 2001, Xbox Live in 2002, and new ways to connect, from friends lists and achievements to parties and play across devices. Today, Xbox reaches over 500 million players around the world, with some of the most important franchises in entertainment.
If they go back to exclusive games it at least shows that they are finally getting it. They would be turning down immediate money for something that will potentially workout in the long term.
Only issue is they've already opened Pandora's box. A lot of their base has moved to PC or jumped to PS. So will be a long road to get back on track.
We have been saying this from day one exclusives are a must if you are going to be selling hardware look at Nintendo and Sony before Jim Ryan. That's the proven formula. You had some that were deluded and blinded by loyalty accepting that multiplat was the future and that MS was merely getting ahead of where the industry was headed, but at least they can finally see the light and agree with what everyone has been saying for a decade+
Despite all of that, it's clear that Microsoft's Xbox division is broken beyond repair.
No one questioned the games line-up or PS4 Pro for two reasons:
1. It was not salivated over for a year with little to no information on what it can do and what Iran purpose is. So no one considered Pro as an almost next-gen leap since the wording for what it is, and actions Sony took on it, are the same.
2. The games have been constant and steady with promises that exclusives would look and play better. Xbox on the other hand has not seen anything, exclusives wise, other than Halo Wars 2. So waiting for games in general and questioning the lineup is really just a project of the Xbox fanbase desperately wanting something new in general for their original Xbox.
Side Note:
There's 24+ million people playing on Xbox ones, which are below even the original PS4 in performance. Scorpio has a target on its back because MS is making itself out to seem as if they're leading the industry, when in reality they're very much far behind. ** Nintendo is MS' closest competitor at the moment, just to put things into perspective**
Nobody is targeting the scorpio.
It's the PR behind it. So many promises being made and retracted.
Things like "demostrable difference" and true 4k being coined. The expectations are super high becuse of hype. People saying native 4k 60 uncomprimised they switching to native 4k then 1st party 4k....then sparse rendering is leaked and then destiny 30fps exposing a weakness. ..ms blaming devs for it.
You ask me it's MS that's painted the target on the scorpios back. The day a game is sparse rendered, or played equal to xbo ps4 or the pro there will be blood.
PR is the reason why.
When you try to sell a idea of a console that runs 4k60 frames with ultra settings in all games, without a next gen cpu or 1080ti gpu, Microsoft better be ready for what will happend after...
They already backtracked a litlle bit, but....
