I wish I was the type of player that could consider a game like this on either console as if the controller made no difference at all, and it was just down to other factors.

When is somebody going to make a decent Xbox controller clone for the PS4??? You would think that would be a hot item if somebody actually made a good quality one.

I thought about buying a Scorpio to play this. Why? Because I want one but don't have a reason to buy one. Thinking it may be the best way to play without upgrading my PC. Then I hear consoles are capped at 30 fps. Now there is no reason B/C a few friends play on PS4 and it's has exclusivity.

When I do upgrade my PC, I'll get it there. No point until I finish school. Imho, I think all of this is happening B/C Sony pit out a ton of money and soon they will become the third best option for multiplatforms. They remain, to me, the best option for exclusives.

Sony wants to know that they are getting their money's worth. Delay PC and put it in Battlenet and cap consoles at 30 fps. Think about it. This eliminates most of Sony's disadvantages initially. Why buy a Scorpio if the extra power (which is what 7% CPU), and many will buy console while they wait for PC release.

The dedicated servers and use if a last gen engine is definitely Activision's doing. Just my opinion, but it makes more sense than the idea that 4v4 small matches can't run at 1080/60 on the Pro. Gimme a break.

And the sentiment of this article is how so many ppl feel right now. So it's working in Sony's favor.

As already stated by DF, the server systems are taking alot of cpu cycles on Destiny2 on PS4,x1 etc.

I already gave up: I'm not playing Destiny 2 on anything.

I've got nothing against Destiny, but ...when it was first revealed, I thought it looked fantastic and I was really excited about it. But when I found out it was practically no story and all mutliplayer, I was out. I never played the first one, and they lost me as a customer completely.

I felt similarly about The Division...when that game was first revealed, I would have sworn on a bible it would be a day one purchase. I'm a single player gamer almost exclusively, and some of these franchises just lose me right up front when they have no story to drive gameplay. Star Wars Battlefront was the same thing. Then, when the sequel rolls around, I have zero excitement for them, despite the now implemented story modes.

No judgement on those games...I just happen to enjoy a Horizon:Zero Dawn, Bloodborne, TLOU, Zelda, Persona 5, etc. etc. more. Without a story, I just have no motivation to play whatsoever.

I am playing 60FPS so that rules out PS4 / PS4 Pro.

I am sure Sony with their deal with Bungie will make make sure Destiny will not be 60FPS on Project Scorpio which everybody knows it should.

That means PC Version for me.

Don't exactly point the finger at Forbes here for this worthless article even though they do deserve some of the blame for allowing this toxic writer to still be employed. The guy who wrote this article is Paul Tassi. Those of you that are familiar with Mr. Tassi are already well aware of the constant garbage he churns out. If you look at his archived articles, you will see that he constantly bashes every game he plays (especially Destiny), even though he continues to play it till this day. He whines more than a 3 year old who wasn't allowed a sucker from the bank. It's not constructive criticism either, which i'm all for... he knows he needs to get more clicks so he goes to desperate lengths with fanboy articles in order to draw his most loyal followers "the small percentage of the toxic gaming community". I know i sound pretty harsh here but if you do read up on his prior articles to date, you will know exactly what i'm talking about.

This is the reason why bad content exclusivity still happens. I know this has been going on for multiple decades, but it was bad enough with timed dlc for a month.

Definitely PC for me. There's no way I'm coming back to that 30 FPS sewer again, even if its delayed by 6 months or whatever. Who cares, I'll wait because 60 FPS is worth it. Hell, I'm still waiting for 60 FPS Bloodborne, and will probably wait until the PS5 if I need to.

If I recall, we only missed out on a strike and two weapons. Both of which were meh from most accounts. I wasn't holding my breath over those things.

The only valid point is the player base but even that's flawed logic seeing how every PS4 owner isn't a destiny player. So you won't have a 2 to 1 player advantage in destiny 2.

I can't find any recent sales comparison charts but old articles kept saying despite Sony exclusive rights the sales were close to even on both platforms.
