The Devil's Advocate - No Man's Sky

"I know, you are probably wondering why even bother mention this game when it’s been out for almost a year now. However, there is a number of messages that can be taken from the No Man’s Sky controversy. Video game reviews take into consideration a lot of factors like story, gameplay, graphics and so on. One aspect that is usually shunned though is the technology and methods that made everything a reality"

"However, it s a shame when a game accomplishes something on a more technological level, something that players take for granted, and is barely mentioned if at all in the reviews, gameplay videos etc."

Probably because there was a lot of false promises made, even on a technical level. Sean Murray is the new Peter Molyneux.

Funny how you see on the internet with headlines for Destiny 2 with something like: Bungie " Destiny 2 Righting the Wrongs of Destiny" and everyone cheers.....

So everyone admits finally that Bungie did not live of up to their promises with Destiny??? Lots of cheering that Bungie is righting the wrongs fixing their issues with their first problems. Adding a match making system that should of been there in the first place, much more things to do in Destiny 2 which are really just expanded versions of what they promised in the first Destiny? Cheers ....

Yet we have a small studio who made many of the same mistake as the big studio above that Studio was Called Hello Games..... Their game to puts exploration and resource gathering first over the shooter aspect (role reversal from typical open world space games that put shooting first)...... No Man's Sky game is playable and for the most part pulls off the core of what the game is about. Yea just like Destiny, Hello Games didn't live up to every promise with No Man's Sky and like Bungie with Destiny, No Man's Sky story was a bit weak. Hey, at least Hello Games didn't rip millions of dollars from the people with overprice DLC Like Bungie did and Hello Games did not have the same resources to start off with but had a much larger scope for their game (maybe to large perhaps).......

Oh by the way,,,, for free Hello Games improved on No Man's Sky by adding 1080p 60fps and 4K mode unlock fps for those who brave the 4K jungle.....with HDR support..... Added a bunch of content that added game play value to the game for FREE....

Destiny 2 is FREE.....oh wait it's not.... man it's sucks if you started playing Destiny from Day 1 ouch Expensive Game plus 2 DLC now have to pay for Destiny 2 $$$$$$$$$$$$$.....

And that's just Bungie...... I can pick a whole bunch of other studios that have been doing far worse for much longer than Hello Games or Sean.......

Point is stop bullying the little kid on the school ground when the Big kids have been taking lunch money for years and everyone has just bent over and well .... get the picture

Shut up and leave Hello Games alone dumb ..... I'm sick of these damn news stories when other developers/publishers are planning to do the same crapping thing (or worse) in future than Hello Games ever did to the gaming community..........

lOl, I'm glad i never looked into nothing for this game before it released. I simply saw, space exploration and saw it was a console exclusive and was like bookmark to buy. I enjoyed the game for what it was and still do. I realized when I started doing this about 5 years back, gaming became fun again, it was about what was missing, but what was there to enjoy. Gaming has became so transparent devs, want spotlight talking up their games and then the final product don't live up to the hype. Back in the day, we knew very little about the games we bought, only what was in the PSU magazine (or whatever mag you bought) and read a 2-5 page article that told you about what the game was about not what it could be. Gaming has changed, devs have too much spotlight now, they just need to shut up and make the games great like back in the day and let the marketing departments handle the marketing lOl.

No Man’s Sky: Assemble Your Creatures for Battle in the Xeno Arena with the Newest Free Update

Sean writes: "Last month’s Remnant update caused much hilarity as you tooled with your newfangled gravity guns and customisable exocraft, transporting precarious industrial cargo across uneven terrain in a classic risk vs. reward fight. Our latest update is a whole different beast."
