I think most of us would rather have Isolation 2 so hopefully we'll be getting that aswell soon. E3 Reveal?

I would be down for thaf with a vr experience tied to it to. I think they just need to make the game shorter this time around or not have it feel like it drags on in the latter portions.

Still, i would love a new AVP game

I think the length was fine but once she realised there was more then one of them on the ship they should have given you a way to kill them...BUT it wouldn't be easy and could take away a lot of resources. Kind of like the Big Daddy encounter at the start of Bioshock, you can kill them sure but it's going to f***** hurt.

I'm hoping in the sequel she can lay traps and the like and use the environment more.

But the article says they are focused on multiplayer. WTH? I would much rather have the Single Player. I played the VR demo of Alien Isolation with my DK2 and it was incredible though certain features were not fully fleshed out. Still it was amazing. There was word from Sega that a full version was going to be released en toto for VR but it has not as of to date materialized.

Absolutely agreed alien isolation is easily one of my favorite survival horror games I've played in a very very long time, the art Direction in the game is absolutely amazing you could tell that the designers had a lot of fun with the original aliens concept.

I'm actually hoping we get isolation 2 this year announced as well as Evil Within 2.

It's weird that the games have become the best part of the Alien franchise, considering the 16-bit ones (and most modern ones, too) were rubbish.

Yeah. Isolation was pretty decent but it was way better than any of the movies after Aliens. It kills me a little inside when they announce a new Alien movie prequel or sequel.

I would say isolation might be one of the best video games ever taken from a movie series but there's also tons of other games that go in that category.

I still like all the other Alien films.

Makes total sense but I'd rather be a group of Marines getting surrounded, all hell breaking loose with difficulty being very hard to escape like a surivial mode, can remain single player with decent Ai as an option.

Always wished I experienced just like the second film helping each other escape while the choas happens.

Problem is you either have to depower the aliens, have super destroyable scenary.. or have a literally impossible game. Or all three. The acid really should make swiss cheese of the map in most of these games.

None of the games, AVP, CM etc treated the aliens as the lethal intelligent critters they are. Isolation is the only game that got that right, but if you have loads of the aliens coming for you that sounds supremely difficult. Humans don't really survive these encounters. The story would have to be complex and have the aliens spread doing different stuff than just coming for you.

The VR should make it more scary. The beeping on the scanner, the alien noises, Marines screaming, gunfire then have the same type of music as the film.
They can do s build up. Straight up surivial or both.

It's likely to be like the last aliens though.
