The decision to release a multiplayer only quiz title for the DS is something that will lead many gamers to question the developer's sanity. Although ideal for parties or small gatherings, the opportunity for the large majority to get a game of Bakushow together may be too small to even consider.

RealGamer writes: "Bakushow: Challenge Your Friends is something very different indeed…for starters it is the first (and only, to my knowledge) multiplayer only DS game. It allows single cart wireless play, so you only need one copy of the game and then 3 other DS's can link up to the host's DS and join in.
The game itself is extraordinarily simple, the players take it in turn to be the challenger, they decide on a task or challenge for themselves and the other players to complete, which they write on their touch screen, in a similar way to Pictochat (the pre-loaded wireless chat software on the DS) or a whiteboard."

Eurogamer has posted their DS roundup which features 3 DS titles. The scores are as follows.
Prey the Stars - 9/10
Subbuteo - 4/10
PictoImage - 5/10
Bakushow - 2/10
Driving Theory Training - 3/10

"A mix of Family Fortunes, Wario Party and numerous other Wii 'Party' games Bakushow is a 'lite' version of Wii Sports, never pretending to be anything more than just a pick up and doodle game. But it's simple fun, and easily rewards the modest asking price."
