Farpoint Review | Stuff

I've played dozens, maybe even hundreds, of FPS games over the years, but there were times when Farpoint genuinely felt like something completely new.

People are having a ton of fun with this one. Just feels so fresh with the aim controller.

Full freedom of movement is awesome too. As much as I enjoy Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, there are plenty of on rails shooters, so it's nice to now have a proper ffs as well!

Guys! The game is amazing!!! You GOTTA try it! The flat screens dont do VR justice! It looks almost boring but its a completely different experience when you're in it! Way more visceral than even Battlefield to me. Plays on tension a lot rather than action. You have to learn the enemy's movements and shoot in good rhythm. The world is gigantic in scale and distance for VR. Its super polished and my number 1 VR gaming experience recommendation! A must buy for VR owners

Good list but Thrill of the Fight 2 and Racket Club should be in this. TOFT 2 is one hell of a work out and even found myself watching boxing instructional videos in order to improve. Racket Club does an amazing job adapting tennis, badminton and pickleball into something that feels realistic but fits in with smaller VR spaces.

Both of these are great games!

TOFT has already featured in 131XR's 'best' series: https://youtu.be/jExm8PbCVq...
