Jason Stettner of Gamerheadquarters writes; "It's almost that most exciting time of the year for games and heading to my third E3, I'm going to discuss Nintendo E3 2017: What to Expect."

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is getting cheaper but Call of Duty is leaving day-one access. Here’s what we think the price drop means for Xbox, PC Game Pass, and the future of the service.

Tech4Gamers writes: "A PlayStation Support assistant has confirmed that the 30-day timer implemented by the new DRM policy is part of an update and isn’t a bug. While responding to a fan’s query, PS support revealed that all games purchased digitally after March 2026 will be affected by this time limit.
If your PS4 or PS5 does not connect to the internet within 30 days, the game’s license will expire, and it won’t launch on the console unless the connection is restored. Hence, every digital game you purchase from now on will require an online check-in, or else you will lose ownership."
That is wild lol. Steam already does this for some games depending on the developer...but man...all digital games on ps5...
This has to be a mistake.
“Received word from an anonymous insider. The Sony DRM issue is unintentional. From what we gathered, Sony accidentally broke something while fixing an exploit. They've known about the confusing UI for a while, but didn't see it as urgent. Hoping for a clarifying statement now.”
The screenshot from the article is from an AI chat bot, there are plenty of screenshots floating around from actual human chat reps stating the opposite.
It this is real then I will never buy digital again and if the PS6 is digital only then it will be the first Playstation Console I wont buy
"Games will vanish" is click baity as hell...all you have to do is log in and the license is restored.
I'd hope to see a new metroid, fzero and star fox game announced for switch. I'd expect them to talk about their paid multiplayer service and other new features rolling out for the switch in the near future.
Animal Crossing please, Star Fox and dear god keep him in a ship, ZERO motion controls please, Metroid Prime, just an FPS, ZERO FEDERATION FORCE PLEASE, Top down Zelda, Mario RPG either Paper or Super Star Bros.
Thats about it.
Pokemon is a must though, even if they have to port it from 3DS, even if they have to just show a damn trailer...THEY MUST have a Pokemon presence to show Switch is getting 100% of their focus and not simply "some"
I'm hoping to see a lot of new and exciting titles announced for Switch.
But really I want to see a new Metroid announced. A 2D.5 Metroid in the same way like Shadow Complex and the new Strider released a while back.
I also want to see a ton of 3rd party Japanese devs announce a handful of JRPG's in the same way the 3DS got that support. Maybe a new Switch version of Namco X Capcom would be tight.
Nintendo has been teasing Earthbound for a while now and I would like to see a new Earthbound/Mother announced for the Switch.
I expect to see more details, gameplay for Mario Odessey, the new Xenoblade game and the new Fire Emblem game.
I would love to see a return of a console platformer or an open world style (like BOTW) Kid Icarus game.
And last but not least, Ice Climbers vs. Balloon Fight HD!
Metroid
Animal Crossing
Pokemon Stars
Details regarding Online Service
Smash Bros for Switch
Xenoblade chronicles 2 (assuming they plan to stay on target for 2017 release)
Mario & Rabbids crossover
Mario Odyssey
Fire Emblem 2018 tease
Virtual Console (HURRY UP NINTENDO)
A combination of things I hope/expect to see. There'll probably be some reveals too for 2018 games.
