Possible spoiler in title???? Jesus

PolishWingedHussar3314d ago

There's a spoiler warning in the article itself before anything spoiler related is revealed. Even without playing the game, Tarsier lists the game characters on their site including Six and The Lady. Asking a question about a character's origin isn't spoiling anything. The actual story details in the theory do, but they're placed after the listed spoiler warning and header.

"Even without playing the game, Tarsier lists the game characters on their site including Six and The Lady."

That's not even a good excuse as to why that wasn't a spoiler. You listed in the title and description a fan theory that proposes something people may not be familiar with (yet) and would rather discover on their own.

I personally purchased but haven't started the game yet. I read nothing about the story. I didn't even know who these characters were, and now I will have this "question" hanging over my head as soon as the characters are introduced. It's just like saying of a (fake) game "are Mike and Dan brothers?" Or something to that effect. It DOES have an impact on how the story is viewed throughout the game.

Six's origin has little to no bearing over a game intentionally left vague by its creators. It's left wide open to personal interpretation. The theory presented is merely one theory out of dozens, and doesn't explain most, if anything, that you encounter while playing the game. The gameplay is about exploration and making it from one point to another. The draw is the weirdness/scariness you come across. The biggest mystery of the game is literally everything in the game, as nothing is really explained. Tarsier will likely answer some questions in their prequel comic, but that too is a big question mark. Again, unless you read the full piece top to bottom, you won't know the events or ending of the game. And in said piece, I did place a spoiler warning before I reveal any story aspects. The mod has already changed the title on N4G, but I do mean it when I say the article theory in and of itself isn't going to ruin the game for you and its countless surprises.

> Little Nightmares makes it clear from the very beginning that The Maw is a dangerous place to anyone who isn’t an employee. (The Janitor, Twin Chefs), a Guest, or The Lady.

...well, what about the person who feeds you bread?

PolishWingedHussar3314d ago

(Spoiler)

From what most fan theories posit, the children of The Maw are there to be eaten by the Guests. The shadow is too slender to be a Guest, they could be an employee but it's never revealed. If they are a child, it's possible they're being fattened up to be eaten. I know Tarsier plans to release a graphic comic, though Six reportedly won't be in it. I definitely plan to adjust when they reveal more about The Maw.
