resident evil sold 3 million something on ps4 that sold 60 million consoles, and xbox one that sold 20 million consoles or more......so out of 70 to 80 million systems, it only did 3 million???

monster hunter and 3ds sell more than that and did it with less systems

my whole point, if you look at Japan they are all over handhelds, games on ps4 struggle to reach a million in japan unless you add up worldwide numbers, but lets take a game like dragon quest before it reach america it already sell 4 million to 5 million on 3ds handheld......its obvious on handhelds it do not take long to reach a million

and with Switch selling well in Japan this will be their new favorite handheld and if there is anything to go by, nintendo handheld will sell more games bringing more profit, and this is why nintendo handhelds never had 3rd party issues like the nintendo consoles.......nintendo was smart to make switch also a handheld

Why would Capcom care about the specific attach rate to 60 million install base? They're simply worried about selling the game not by how much of the installed base purchase is it you have to understand that because of the competition is much more steep on those platforms of course they're going to have sales like that the attach rate is actually irrelevant to Capcom, they're not selling a console so I'm not sure what relevance it's going to be to them as a company.

If you're talking about Resident Evil 7 you're also talking about a Resident Evil that was only capable on PlayStation 4 Xbox One and PC and not with the switch so they have a great reason to not bring their game to that platform if it cannot physically exist.

Just like they didn't bring Resident Evil 5 and 6 over to that platform....

So I'm not entirely sure what you're actually complaining about because the sales that they're receiving on those platforms are also based on being able to actually graphically achieve such a thing only on those platforms in the first place.

This is going to be no different than any of Nintendo's previous handhelds they're going to release games that make sense for their handheld but they clearly they're still going to release Triple-A properties on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One if they're able to move a significant amount of units.

Attach rates is irrelevant to third-party developers, they care about sales they care about selling their game and making a profit , by how much people on the install base is actually quite Irrelevant in regards to attach rate they simply care about how much they're able to sell.

The Switch doesn't deserve to miss out just to satisfy your console war Sony complex. Monster Hunter 5 would be just as welcome on Switch as on PS4, for example, to any real fan of the franchise, and you need to stop wishing death on the platform just because you've got issues with its specs.
