A surprise 35GB update for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite dropped seven years after the last patch, without any explanation from Capcom.

The new Beyond mod for the Steam (PC) version of Capcom's fighting game, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, has achieved 50,000 downloads.

Capcom's crossover fighting game, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, has seen a resurgence on Steam following the release of the Beyond mod.
Solid character list so far, but they've said it is half and it's at 14 so far....that means we get 28 at launch with 6 more coming DLC for $40.
$40 for 6 more characters seems like a huge rip off.
Marvel vs Capcom 2 had like 52 characters and most of them were good.
Shipping with only 28 characters in a Marvel vs Capcom game is not smart....just like launching SF5 with a small character count was not smart.
It's like they didn't learn from their mistakes.
Other than that, this game looks good and I really want to play it but that DLC is a rip off.
