"Last Surprise" and "Mass Destruction" are two of the best Persona battle themes, no doubt.
The PlayStation 3 is Sony’s most interesting home console ever, but what’s most interesting of all is trying to nail down the very best games on a console with hundreds of incredible games. Let’s give it a shot.
Sly Thieves in Time
Stay the Party
Portal 2
Dj Hero
Demon’s Souls
God of war Ascension
I've noticed a recent nostalgia for the PS3 and I don't get it for me it's been my least favourite generation to date and I've been gaming since the NES I just feel like the ambition of the developers outweighed the capabilities of the consoles so I remember lots of games running in the lower end of 20fps range and I remember for the first time ever actually disliking the duelshock 3 and it's curved triggers
Sure there were some standouts and great games but that's the only gen I switched entirely to PC gaming

The Persona / Shin Megami Tensei cosplay gathering allowed fans of the acclaimed JRPG series to meet up during FanimeCon 2024.
I find nothing wrong about the translation though. Things flows so smoothly that sometimes i thought this was orignally an English language game.
Currently playing it and I think compared to the Japanese dialogue it is about 85% accurate. Best example is Ann's English script feels more bratty compared to the Japenese she speaks, which should be not be the case because her true personality is more reserved compared to her juxtaposed foreigner image (Japanese perceive blonde hair as rebellious).
Another thing is the quiz questions related to Japanese idioms are completely impossible because you cannot know meanings without the use the Kanji characters.
I stopped reading when the author said that people never say "it can't be helped". So, I guess every time I've ever said that I wasn't talking like a person? Also, he offered a few alternatives, some of which are semantically equivalent, and are hence splitting hairs.
I do respect this person for what they do though. I've been kind of haphazardly trying to get Japanese down for a while now as it would open up so many doors to me, entertainment wise, some of which I actually already own. Unfortunately that's going to be a process. Anyone who is a native English speaker and has Japanese down has my respect. Thankfully all the manga I brought back from Japan seems to have furigana. Too bad the games don't, but I guess I know what I have to use as training wheels.
this games has so many conversations that its really hard to make 100% sense every second. You can't translate things 1:1
