Gazillion's Marvel Heroes Omega closed beta comes to PS4 Friday, April 21.
Earlier this month, Gazillion revealed Marvel Heroes Omega is coming to both PS4 and Xbox One, but the upcoming closed beta is for PS4 only. An Xbox One beta is coming "in the near future."

Considering the genre's explosive popularity, why aren't superhero MMOs hugely successful? Shannon gets to the bottom of the matter.
Why aren't there more super hero games? You would think it would be a no brainer with all the material right there for the picking.
And yet we have really only had less than a handful become popular.

Short Pause: "Bender reveals his top ten games of 2017! Did your favorite make the cut?"

Gazillion has announced the game and studio will cease operation shortly.
Took a while for this article to get approved? Cause they both (game and studio) shut down 2 days ago... Even the tweet is from 2 days ago.
played this on pc, will have to check it out on the ps4 its a ok game to waste a afternoon now and then
This game was bad at launch, but over the years has actually become pretty good. I tend to not like playing games like this on PC too often, but I spent a lot of time on here. I think it got better once it started to embrace its inner diablo, and I know the recent 2017 patch on PC that changed a lot got a lot with the game garnered some mixed reactions most. I am looking forward to playing this on console though since it's a fresh start and I have a lot of friends on console who can't play this, but would love it. It's the closest thing you can get to a new Ultimate Alliance or X-Men Legends game these days. Hopefully in the near future we can get another one of those instead of this though.
