we will see at e3 just what kind of real commitment they have. so far they have not invested in any of their top tiered developers making vr exclusive games. so again it looks to me like another peripheral getting the second class treatment.

First on the 'lets see if they were serious about that' list is MS's comitment to their current console the xb1. The PSVR is just 6 months old, whereas the xb1 is 3,5 years old and we all know how MS likes to abandon their consoles around the 4 year mark.

So please Moldy dont jump to conclusions based solely on your...heart's desire.

The Xbox 360 was around for 10 years, whether you thought the games they made for it after 4 years interested you or not is irrelevant. PSVR has no AAA commitment from Sony as of yet. When they launch any of their consoles they always have at least a few games from their top tired development teams who have made games. This is hardly the case for PSVR.

Dont sugar coat it, they abandoned ship 2 years before the xb1 was out. Scorpio is around the corner-we will see how commited MS will be with the xb1 sooner rather than later.

As for PSVR as I said we are still 6 months in dont jump to conclusions dude...

If they won't show anything for it at E3 it will prove that they were only interested to sell you a pheripheral without supporting it in a long term. I am more and more convinced this was the plan.

Well, to answer the title's question is simple. Make a higher spec version to equal the Oculus Rift/Touch and HTC Vive at a more affordable price.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit13d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing12d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9212d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
