I wish they would just stop with articles like this really. Articles like this tend to bring out the worst in people here on n4g. Can't we all just get along and just play the god damn games instead of worrying about which piece of plastic win or lose?

Is that even an official competition that one must win over the over? Articles like this should just be banned.

Ps4 had the most/best games this Q1

I've only bought HZD in Q1. So I guess PS 'won' in my house.

Spent more time playing silly Mount & blade mods with my mates to be honest so what do I know.. :D

ps4 for me they have the most exclusive already and going through 2017 no other company will come close to what sony done

Persona isn't a Q1 game.

Ps4 by absolutely miles. Not even slightly close.

As much as I love Zelda, PS4 has had an insane amount of quality games so far this year with the highlight for me being Persona 5 that I put in the same pedestal as Zelda.

PS4 all the way. That being said, looking foward to second half of the year, it will be much more interesting.

Persona 5 alone probably shifted more PS4 and PS4 PRO units than the total number of Xbox consoles sold this year. Imagine then Horizon: Zero Dawn, Yakuza 0, NiOH, Nier:Automata, etc, Etc, doing similar. No brainer, mate. You just started this so that everyone would repeat the same: PS4.

The amount of games on PS4 first quarter is beyond insane

i like how nintendo is not getting tired to say "we are NOT a competitor of the real console manufacturers. we are something completely else." ... this is their justification of their subpar approach. but yet, everybody and their mother is comparing them, doing ports from big console manufacturers to squeeze real games into the subpar hardware of the nintendo gadgets. either nintendo is delusional or their users. but one of these 2 parties really needs to do a reality check.

The only one with multiplats and exclusives

PS4. The games (which are what make a console great) they released in Q1 were just amazing. My backlog is insane, Horizon, Nier Automata, Toukiden 2 (to name a few). Not to mention that they also retained their relationship with Bungie for Destiny 2 exclusive content.

I enjoy my Switch, but only having 1 or 2 decent games (in my case Zelda and Fast RMX) makes Nintendo second IMHO.

As for Xbox one... Well, let's just say that mine is collecting some serious dust (until I cleaned it off last week). I'm expecting MS to have some big announcements soon, so hopefully they can at least compete.

Switch came too late to really factor in the entire quarter. PS4 had some amazing 1st quarter games, so the nod definitely goes to them.

Switch entered end of Q1 so yes PS4.

This articles are bad, but news over and over trying to sell something that will come in 6 months and saying the same stuff over and over are better. Who cares about wich console got more new games play! Is much better to talk about teraflops and beast.

As far as I am concerned Nintendo won, not at all by numbers, but with BOTW. Fantastic game!!! I do not have a Switch so I dusted off my Wii U. Would like to see another patch for Wii U, frames rates could be better in certain areas.

- Nintendo doesn't like to run, they do their own thing, so they walked with flare.

Stevie Wonder even knows that answer.When it comes to games it's clearly the PS4.The PS4 will be reining champ for the entire 2017 when it comes to playing fun exclusive software.

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
