Looks great, still have yet to play the first one

TheCommentator3336d ago

If you do play the first one, be prepared to be amazed at how easily you get sucked into the world. It's like playing The Walking Dead as a game. I, for one, am eagerly awaiting SoD2 because it has coop on top of everythine else that makes the first one so great.

DragonbornZ3336d ago

I kept forgetting about the 2nd one. Really interested to see what changes they'll bring. Gameplay/narrative was unique in the first one.

When you play it tho be careful you don't accidentally get everyone killed lol.

I'm hoping we can go solo, build our bases ourselves for us and only us. Maybe invite people in one by one if we choose.

I hated constantly having to have a pep talk with people or worrying about supplies constantly when I was trying to enjoy the world a little first.

DragonbornZ3336d ago

@Foxtrot
Yeah that would be nice. Don't mind worrying about supplies or anything tho personally, but it'd be cool if there difficulty or maybe narrative options that let people chose.

Here they are talking about a new game so why isn't there more people talking about it? It looks great and the last one was lots of fun.

gangsta_red3336d ago

This new game for Xbox One looks good. I'm glad they added a multiplayer aspect to the game which I thought was a mistake with it missing from the first game.

Very game for an XBLA game. Can't wait to see what they do with it now that they have a foundation to work from and most likely better finances, technology, and even better... hardware. One thing I agree with PS fans on is MS needs more 1P, and MS should buy this company and bring it into the fold

I actually thought Dying Light was better. Its a way better game imho. You should checkout that zombie game. I'll give this a go on PC looking forward to more gameplay

goatking3336d ago

Very different games, the only similarity was that they have zombies.

freshslicepizza3336d ago (Edited 3336d ago )

Dying Light was lots of fun and ran verywell on the PC. This looks like a great game solo or with other people and is more of a survival game. Dying Light is more hack and slash.

Dynamic narrative system...

Please, do go on...

chris2353336d ago

the first game was nice but it lost to last light. a sequel would have to top last light and then add some brilliance to justify its existence. not confident that this team can pull that off.

gangsta_red3336d ago

Never played Last Light but I have to wonder...where is the sequel to Dying Light which was an absolutely fantastic game?

Alexious3336d ago

Last Light is a Metro game which has absolutely nothing to do with State of Decay.

Dying Light had an expansion last year, I'd wager they're working on a sequel but don't expect it before next year at the least.

Umbasa3335d ago

Nice! Though, is it asking to much for it to be better optimized for P.C this time or is it Xbox only?
