I am *very* interested in the "Social Gaming" aspect of Primtime.

Will MS have a "mass games" channel that is based on a "TV-like" programming schedule?

For instance, "PrimeTime: Mass Trivia @ 5:00 with Real Prizes" I **HOPE** they do this. My family and friends would *love* to come over and play a competitive "house vs house" trivia game with real prizes.

I *really* hope MS has this in mind with Primetime.

I wouldn't think so. You dont run the dashboard while your running a game.

the xbox's OS and dashboard are allocated on its own block of memory

really doesn't look any more demanding than the current dash and from the videos it is already running incredibly smooth

Must suck to have to support a virtual world. Me, I support playing games online where everybody has mics, everybody talks and everybody plays. I also like the fact that 360 games are hugely supported by the MLG, Gears 2 will be the biggest online game for a while. Resistance 2 is just going to get overshadowed and gears will be the premier game again. Maybe gamebattles should make a clan section for home, they could implement a feature as to which team can talk the most sh!t through text bubbles!

1 out of 10 games of COD4 on PS3 have someone with a mic in my experience. Believe me, I KNOW.

no, the new features are built into the new dash

and chances are if you don't do the system update you won't even be able to get on live because the update will be a mandatory system update

you can't just skip the update because the new dash won't be just a new look, it will have new features, new security fixes, tons of things

you can however opt to not use the dashboard just by avoiding it, but that would be silly

and if you are interested in using the features then what is the point? that doesn't really make sense
