Glad someone enjoys the game. Its good, must not mainstream good.

Armaggedon3347d ago

Lol. Really? To me, mainstream good means all presentation with lack of depth in gameplay.

Gaming4Life19813347d ago

I think the game is great and im having a blast, i cannot stop playing. Game reviewers showed their true colors by rating this game low because of glitches, animations, etc when other games didnt get rated lower because of them. It just shows how the industry can be shady at times.

rosscoffx3347d ago

Thanks for checking out the article and your comments. The main issue is they rushed it out, myself and the team all really enjoyed it but they should have followed The Witcher 3's example.
No one cares about all the delays about that game or even the smaller bugs it released with. Now they only care about the awards it won.
2/3 months proper Playtesting and fixes & people easily would be giving it 9s consistently.

Gaming4Life19813347d ago

While I do agree but just because a game wins the most awards in the year of release doesnt make it great. Critics have lost what makes a game great which are only 2 things.....fun factor and longevity. Reviews are only opinions and dont say whether anyone will dislike or like a game but its clear with this release that biased reviews exist. Ive been gaming since atari 2600, arcades, etc and now I feel like reviewers and gamers a like look for negative things in a game before just enjoying a game.

Thanks for the response and I agree this game neede a delay but like you said its no where near as bad as what other reviewers were saying.

Armaggedon3347d ago

That is true. Games like Fallout 4 get slammed for being buggy, but the Witcher 3? Nah its okay to have bugs.

For All Its Flaws, Mass Effect: Andromeda's Approach to Romance is Something ME4 Can Learn From

While Mass Effect: Andromeda was let in several key areas, one of its approaches to romances is something Mass Effect 4 should consider revisiting.

I hope Mass Effect 4 ignores the inferior prequels and instead closely follows the far superior Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age Inquisition.

anast496d ago (Edited 496d ago )

Mass Effect 4 should just make Mass Effect 1 but better with current tech. Fans would be happy. As far as romance, they should take notes from the Witcher and Cyberpunk.

Ristul496d ago

Later Bioware games have to little build up. You can have a normal conversation and all of a sudden BAM! The character you talk to becomes super flirty.

TricksterArrow495d ago

Reminds me of Baldur’s Gate. I wanted to practice some magic and Gale made it super weird. Not even gonna mention Astarion.

gold_drake495d ago (Edited 495d ago )

iii dunno about that.

the only really great and funny dating partner, is that outlaw guy anyways haha he was funny as hell.

other than that, i found every character to be very annoying.

Shout out to Keri the Asari reporter. Current relationship status be damned as she's game either way. Anything for a good story. 🤣

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast537d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine537d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast537d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman537d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast537d ago

Liam lol I can't stand that dude.

it's like bitch but your shirt back on, your not blue or spikey get away from me

BioWare Thinks Mass Effect Andromeda Was Better Game Than Reception Suggested

BioWare thinks Mass Effect: Andromeda was a better game than what reception suggested; taught the studio not to shoehorn open-world without any meaningful content in it.

thorstein572d ago

I played it and it wasn't as bad as people said. Is it in the 8-10 range? No.

It's a 6-7, which means it's a solid game.

LordoftheCritics572d ago (Edited 572d ago )

Veilguard and Andromeda are of similar level to me.
6 to 6.5 ish

Though I think i enjoyed Andromeda's combat and sense of scale a little bit more.

XBManiac572d ago

Veilguard has better graphics.

neutralgamer1992572d ago

I agree with you It was a 6.5 type game. Gameplay was solid everything else was lacking. Playing at launch with all the issues was just absurd. EA could have let the developers keep patching and fix the game but they stopped just like they did with anthem. It’s crazy to think multi billion dollar publishers can’t afford to keeping patching their games get medium size developers can support the game for years

But when you have android wilson running the company what else can we expect.

OtterX572d ago

Except 6-7 doesn't translate as solid. 6 means a bit flimsy, but still good/enjoyable if you can look past the flaws. 7, a little less flimsy, and enjoyable. 8-10 would be "solid".

But I get your point. I skipped the game entirely, so I don't have an opinion on it.

H9572d ago

I played this game back when I wanted to give every game I bought a fair chance and finish it, it was the reason why I stopped doing so, god the game was bad

TheNamelessOne572d ago

I actually enjoyed Andromeda. It wasn't a 10/10, by any means, but I played it years after the fact, after a lot of patching, and I had a good time with it.

anast572d ago

Same, I enjoyed it too. I might even replay it soon.

TheNamelessOne572d ago

Might do the same, honestly. Went through the trilogy a couple months back.

raWfodog572d ago

I liked it as well, and also played it for the first time over a year after it was released. The original trilogy was a better story overall IMO but I still enjoyed Andromeda.

lellkay572d ago

The game is so unbelivably bad, it's laughable.

pwnmaster3000572d ago (Edited 572d ago )

It really wasn’t. Well for me nd I’m a big fan of the series.
Was it mass effect standard? No
But overall I thought it was a decent game.
6-7/10.

Armaggedon572d ago

You might want to try playing a truly bad game. Go boot up two worlds or gollum to get the perspective you need

MatrixxGT572d ago

Wow, two worlds…red ringed my 360.

Armaggedon572d ago

Lol. Its one of the only games that I have experienced buyers remorse with. The only one I can think of is riders Republic.

matt139572d ago

So delusional, the title was an embarrassment to the original trilogy. it’s the equivalent of 2042 to the battlefield franchise.

thorstein572d ago

2042 had a redemption arc and what exists now is a pretty good FPS.
