So tell me if I'm misunderstanding this. Sony are testing when there is a sale based on your purchasing patterns offering you games that are more likely to appeal to you with larger discounts (or including games in a sale with a discount altogether). Hmmm, I'm not sure I have an issue with this per se. If what we are saying is that games most likely to appeal to me WHEN A SALE OCCURS are more likely to be discounted or discounted more for me that's great? It will surely also help me not be tempted to buy stuff I won't actually like/play just because it's discounted as presumably it's unlikely to be as cheap? I think the key here is that it's only being done DURING A SALE. We aren't talking like God of war Ragnarok has been out a month and some people are being given a discount and everyone else charged full price. Or have I misunderstood the article?

This is stupid af. I don’t buy digital but this isn’t going to last very long. If you want to test pricing put it as low as possible for everyone and see more people buy games.
