-dedicated PvP servers, screw all foreign streaming laggers
-locked 60fps
-Weapon balance, not selective metas
-Maps that don't cater to shotguns and/or snipers
-Again, actual weapon balance
-Monthly updates, not quarterly. We don't need to be waiting 4 months for lies about unintended changes when you've been in testing for months
-No lies or broken promises. Before release and throughout bungie has repeatedly lied to us and act like they did no such thing
-All weapons are relevant in crucible, otherwise delete them if they're not
-Dlc and future updates are not allowed to recycle/reskin previous areas/enemies/missions/strikes

Mikelarry3347d ago (Edited 3347d ago )

Ill add better customisation so that your character actually unique to the player. All in all great list that echoes my requests

DGabos933347d ago

Unfortunately, I doubt it will be much different in terms of repetitiveness. Especially with Activision and Call of Duty, if you can put minimal effort into games and DLC but still get a lot of revenue, why bother polishing the game that much? It's a sad trend that some publishers and developers use these days.

With that being said, I'll still be one of the idiots to buy it on release day and get half a game :)

kbozz713347d ago

Also, make PVE and PVP seperate, lest they ruin both.

Stapleface3347d ago

Agree with most of that but delete guns if their aren't useful in pvp. The core of the game is pve. It would be just fine to have some guns that are useful in pve and not so much in pvp. Zalo is a good example, not great in pvp, fantastic in certain pve scenarios. Doesn't mean it shouldn't exist in the game.

And much more content. Again much more content.
Fix the rotation of strikes.Dont want to do the same 3 out 5 times.
Dont change the gameplay
Tons of armors and guns.
Do not make some weapons so much better then others
Try new co op modes defense base mode

Kokyu3347d ago

All I want to hear is they abandoned the previously used game engine which was a major reason maps and missions where reused some many times.

GrimDragon3347d ago

Hmmmm lets see what I want:
1: an ingame lobby to meet and hangout with other players or clans to do raids, strikes, etc
I DO NOT WANT TO HIT UP A SEPERATE WEBSITE FOR THIS!!

2: a huge galaxy map filled with equally huge planets that consist of vibrant life and open world secrets and quest I can do that are more than just resource gathering and other mundane task.

3: the ability to wear as many exotic weapons and armor as I choose.

4: an equal chance at rare gear as those who team up on raids. Make the gear available on tough single player missions. Not everyone has time for raids.

5: get rid of light as a gauge of gear strength just raise the level cap so we can use weapons we like that dish out damage according to your level?

6: all activities played and all players involved should get an award beyond a mote of light. It sucks to complete a raid get awarded a mote of light while your friend gets a high damage thorn.

7: lots and lots and lots of weapon and armor variety 10x the amount from destiny. Secret ones rare ones don't care the loot should be rediculous like diablo.

8: let us trade weapons and armor with other players. Set up a business at the game hub to buy sell or trade items.

9: huge campaign and better story.

10: weekly events and monthly updates of new content. Also new planets and galaxies.

Stapleface3347d ago

In response to 2 and the last part of 10 in your list..So, Star Citizen, but with Destiny aspects, and in finished form this year? Might want to lower those expectations.

GrimDragon3347d ago

Lol I know bro. Honestly I just don't want to hit up a website to find people to play with. If they fix that one thing. I think I'd be ok.

Honestly Thank Goodness!! Yet another good sign of a possibility of returning to what made them great and undoing Jim Tyans trend chasing love service gamble. Still gotta wait and see just what direction they're going but this is a good sign in my book that they're not betting it all on live service anymore

S2Killinit109d ago (Edited 109d ago )

Not sure what you lot are talking about anymore. They need to cover all range of games. Im primarily a single player gamer, but even I cannot be daft enough to ignore the fact that we need all manner of games including live service games. Everyone here seems to be a market expert.

isarai_lee109d ago (Edited 109d ago )

Yes "all manner" not just exclusively live service like Jim was doing, but you also shouldn't be forcing devs to make games they not only have no experience making, but also flatout dont want to do.

S2Killinit109d ago

Assuming that anything like that is actually the case and not just a perception of n4g commenters of course.

Redemption-64109d ago

I don't understand why you people have to keep making up lies. You can say you don't like some or most of their focus being on live service games, but to say they were exclusively focusing on live service games is pure copium. At most half of their games were live service and the rest were single player games. Seriously why lie about something so obvious?

isarai_lee109d ago

@Redemption-64

You say that as if we don't have word directly from Jim Ryan and PlayStation stating they wanted at least 12 live service games released within a year. Followed by tons of official word of those Live Service games being cancelled after he was pushed out. All studios combined at the time PS had 15 studios, 12 is a hell of a lot more than half of 15, and it was definitely their primary focus evident by the fact that a huge portion of their studios have taken uncharacteristically long to release or announce anything since, hell some studios have yet to release anything this gen almost 6 YEARS LATER! The only one making stuff up is you.

It may take a while but maybe they are finally learning. Good! Now stop with the live service crap.

ABizzel1110d ago

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a live service here or there, but to have many of your studios start focusing on it when there has been little to no experience among them was wild.

Christopher110d ago (Edited 110d ago )

They say this and then immediately release news of the Horizons co-op game that will definitely be a Live Service game.

isarai_lee109d ago

I feel like they knew that given the fact that the very furst thing they say in the trailer is to reassure they still make so games 😆

vTuro24110d ago

Bet they're regrettings spending those billions pretty hard right now.

S2Killinit109d ago

Destiny has been a huge success.

Redemption-64109d ago

They will not. Destiny has been popular for over 10 years, something most games can never hope to achieve. Most people, including myself those Bungie was going to make a D3 after the final shape DLC. Marathon looks to be a hit and a D3 announcement could break records.
