@mold- you could still pre order it off of Amazon and I believe it's at a discount price for PlayStation 3.

I would also probably advise you to purchase a PlayStation 4 if you even like Japanese RPGs because with the onslaught of Japanese RPGs that are releasing you're probably going to be left in the cold in the next year or so.

If you own a PlayStation 3 for Japanese RPGs the next logical step is to own a PlayStation 4 because I don't see the rest of SEGA's big RPGs coming on PlayStation 3 after this.

@As-when you have articles like this continuously calling it a PlayStation 4 exclusive it is definitely within the realm of possibility that many users do not know it is also releasing on PlayStation 3.

On topic: I've been super hyped for this. I've never played any of them before but I've seen one played, and it took my money right there and then.

Dunno about that. The Persona series consistently scores high, and is often considered one of the best JRPG's out there. It doesn't have the mainstream recognition that things like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest has, but without fail, it delivers on quality.

As far as trying to compare it to Zelda. Well, I can't ever recall a Persona game having frame rate drops, glitches, or questionable mechanics which seem out of place. Sure, it's not perfect everywhere, but it's typically flawless in execution. So, yeah, you're just trolling for no reason.

As much as i am excited for Persona finally to release, Krib has a point.

There was nothing but excuses for Zelda getting perfect scores and some of them had nothing to do with glitches and bugs.

Sorry Rainslacker but you act like Zelda crashes every step of the way or is unplayable because of bugs. Truth is i havent read from a lot of people who played the game have as many issues as you and others keep bringing up to discredit the game or argue why it doesn't deserve the scores it's getting.

So why don't you three go to every person that hurt your feelings about Zelda scores being bought instead of posting that to people that don't have anything to do with it?

Its hard for some to grasp tge wealth of great titles on PlayStation.

Gears of War 4 and Halo 5 which are not the best games in their series still got a handful of perfect scores. They are no where perfect either. Same goes for any number series.

I'm not acting like Zelda has those problems, I'm saying it has issues which would get points knocked off of other games. Almost every reviewer has stated these issues exist, so if you haven't read these kinds of problems, you haven't read the reviews. Care to respond why you haven't read this in reviews before responding to a matter of review scores? If the reviewers see these issues happen enough to mention them, and if they admit they recognize them, then it should be accounted for. They exist regardless of if you read them or not, and is the major contention of why people are asking why the game isn't be scored lower because of these issues when other really good games do get docked.

It's not perfect in game play, although it's always improved as the series progressed. It has things there through various games which could be improved. But when it comes to working the way it's intended, I can't recall there ever being issues.

My point is that the OP was making it out like this was some sort of conspiracy trying to liken this review to the same thing that is happening to Zelda, because one review, which was poorly written, is obviously the same thing as a game getting 9's and 10's across the board. He was downplaying the quality of Persona, and my point was, based on the assumption this person wants Zelda to be the God Among Games, that Persona has been consistently solid and always scored high, thus no conspiracy.

Maybe try taking my comment in context to the post I'm replying to will help, because it's much more ridiculous than the one I made.

Zelda has always been really good quality and consistently scored high, as can be seen with Ocarina of time still being the highest rated game ever. So why was there a conspiracy saying it's paid reviews for that game?

And no I wasn't going against the quality of persona 5, I have never played it so I wouldn't know, but I have been playing Zelda on my switch and I can tell you it has been worthy of the reviews it has gotten. I haven't played a game this engrossing and something that has taken all of my time like this one since the ocarina of time.

Who paid to have this game exclusive? Who is then most likely paying for the marketing of the game which is common practice when a company has an exclusive? That's right, it would be Sony. And part of marketing is providing review kits for games.

Real talk, why do you hate this game so much. I just checked your comment history and most of the first page is just you going to positive Persona 5 reviews and downplaying them. You obviously have some sort of vendetta against the franchise so what is it? Please respond here or DM me, I'm genuinely curious.

Never said there was a conspiracy. That's kind of silly. I'm saying there is a huge disconnect between the criteria held for zelda, and those held for other games. There are other great games out there which get docked points for the issues which Zelda has. The reviews even say these issues exist, but the scores are still high 9's and 10's, with nary a troll review in site. It's just weird is all.

As far as you not disparaging the quality of the series, that's fair enough. but to go on trying to make it seem like this is the case to try and vindicate yourself against the same claims that have been lobbed at Zelda is just petty....and in this case, for the first review, absolutely stupid.
