'De Blob' Developer Urges Caution To Wii 'MotionPlus' Developers

MTV Multiplayer's Patrick Klepek reports:

"After Nintendo unveiled their MotionPlus add-on for the Wiimote at E3, rumors suggested several companies were upset they weren't tipped off about the device.

MotionPlus finally will allow for 1:1 motion control, a criticism leveled at the Wiimote since its release.

Nick Hagger, the producer of Wii's "de Blob," however, told me MotionPlus could lead to unneeded complexity to motion controls."

Also, when is nintendo going to release a wireless nunchuck and wiimote.

ChickeyCantor6422d ago

wireless Wiimote?
What kind of wiimote do you have XD

RealityCheck6422d ago

@1.1, he is talking about a wireless Nunchuck from Nintendo (so no cables between the Wiimote and Nunchuck).

ChickeyCantor6422d ago

Yeah i know that, but the Wii-mote is already wireless.
I really don't see why you want it wireless, It will need 2 more batteries

chanmasta6422d ago

... "What kind of wiimote do you have?"

LMAO!!! xD

I really don't mind the wire connecting the Nunchuk to the Wiimote, it's not in my way so it doesn't bother me.

If you want the best version of a wireless nunchuck you got to buy the model made by NYKO.
The last time I checked Nintendo was trying to stop Nyko from making that wireless device. So if you really want one I guess better buy that one asap.

I dont mind a wired nunchuk since the only Nintendo Wii game that could be played better if the control were wireless is the game Metroid prime 3 and the rest it is works fine enought.

And we're getting Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Batman return to Arkham, Crackdown 3, Blob 2 and more for 10 dollars...whats your point

King_Noctis2635d ago (Edited 2635d ago )

And for $10 people can purchase Gamepass for one month and have access to 100+ games on top of SOTTR.

SOTTR Is a game that you can just beat and then move on anyway.

Zeref2635d ago (Edited 2635d ago )

Yeah and i get almost 200 other games for the same price.

EasilyTheBest2635d ago

Wow can't believe Shadow of The Tomb Raider and Crackdown 3 this month. I only just bought an Xbox One X a month ago and have only played Forza Horizon 4 and Quantum Break...
Is it only me who drives around in Forza just looking at the scenary and looking in shop Windows? The attention to detail is insane....

Marioraider182635d ago

Says the guy who said "I for one was going to hold off buying an Xbox One X, but after the recent news about playing Xbox 360 games and Original Xbox games at 4k I have changed my mind, I will be buying one day one.
I missed out on this gen my last console was an Xbox 360."

EasilyTheBest2635d ago

That is true, due to personal circumstances I had to hold off buying one but I eventually got a gold rush edition of the Xbox One X early this January.. Hope this is OK with you...

Bronxs152635d ago

I’m the kind of gamer that stops in uncharted and god of war just to admire graphics. I never thought I’d be doing that in a race game as well. Forza on the x is simply amazing looking. Heck I stop mid race to look at my car and the lighting and environment like trees in fall or stone bed rivers in spring and just say I gotta stop and look I’ll restart the race!

EasilyTheBest2635d ago

Yes I'm constantly stopping and changing camera positions to look out the side of car etc
Looking through shop and house windows like a peeping Tom.
The scenary is so varied. Just bought Fortune Island today and don't mind one bit as its certainly worth it..

Bronxs152635d ago

Yes see how good the environments /open world are in Forza has me really excited for their rumoured open world rpg. Can’t wait to see what they do...

monkey6022635d ago

Shadow of the TR came around fast! Might actually try it now

Livingthedream2635d ago

This is the only one I haven't played, was waiting for a big sale, this makes it so much more convenient. I say this a lot, the value of gamepass is just incredible.

Vasto2635d ago

Xbox Game Pass is too good!
