Thats cool and all but why did they also changed the voice actor?

Seems like a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation to me. I remember hearing the constant disappointment about how they turned Chris into a big dumb gorilla. That probably had a lot to do with the decision. Now people are hating because he gave up steroids. You can't win with people, why try? Just create what you want.

I much much much prefer the new look over the resi 5 look. I can see the new character model as a more natural progression to the original resident evil than resident evil 5's Chris.

well Chris in order to fight Wesker he obviously has to be a big mass of muscle. He looks realistically in RE6. In 5 he has some disproportion. And in 7 looks generic as F*(K

Best RE since 4! I'm curious to see how the dlc will be.

I'm gonna guess that the old design style didn't mesh with the new more realistic aesthetic so they changed it because duh.

I don't know why they tried linking re7 with any of the previous re titles.
The silly storyline in the resident evil series has been dragged far enough.
Revs 2 was a laughable mess.

Re7 was a good game, not great mind you. But the mold, the bio weapons in the journals and trying to paint a back story is what ruined the game.

It's like a brand new studio made a semi clone of PT mixed with Re elements and because it had nothing to do with RE. Crapcom forced them to add this silly story, the boat level and the arcade mines and last boss.. oh, don't forget Chris.

Chris was updated because 12 years has past.

Fans are really getting upset because not every character looks like a cliched or roided up jock??? WTF, these characters are at least believable!

RE7 was pretty good. I hope they make another one.
