we need a game like this.

Huge fan of the far cry franchise, and i loved primal, and would love them to do a dinosaur game with modern guns, basically an open world jurassic park.

On another note though with the scale of wildlands being an entire country, i could see them doing something amazing about a tourist trapped in a country after a civil war or conflict/occupation breaks out and then the game focusing on the player trying to escape the country and reach the border.

I dont imagine they'd focus on any topical politcal issues like ukraine or syria, but they could dip back into history and look at bosnia or other conflicts and tell stories about survival in those situations.

Theres a great series on netflix called captive that has a few episodes that would make great far cry plots

I have to say, I really loved Primal. I had a lot more fun with it than I did with Far Cry 4. I can see why others found it lacking though. So I hope their next game steps it up. That said, Jurassic would be pretty cool to play.

Far Cry has sucked for a while now. The shooting mechanics stink.

But humans and dinosaurs never coexisted...I dont mind the fantastical but this is a bit of a stretch. Still, it could be fun.

They could potentially save the series by taking that big budget and using it to focus on a new, high quality concept for the franchise, nothing else is going to do it. All concentrating on MP will achieve is to kill it off quicker.

Only reason I love Far Cry is because it gives me that open world sandbox shooter experience in a SP story-driven game with lots of freedom. I have -zero- interest in a MP Far Cry.

If they want to create a MP game, just make one. But they shouldn’t need to use and destroy the Far Cry IP to do so …
