If you think, Devil May Cry or Burnout Paradise for example, sold more on PS3 thanks to Europe. EA has made more money on PS3 this year much thanks to PS3 growth in Europe and US.

I think PS3 is poised to start to sell more multiplat games at any moment around next year first half. But I'm just talking out of my @ss, let's wait the yearly numbers in january.

Almost every time I see a game commercial, it's for a 3rd party title but at the end it has the Xbox logo along with an Xbox console ad.
People see this and think that the game is only for xbox.

Like the GTAIV ad that said "Xbox Live. The only place to play Grand Theft Auto 4 with 15 of your friends"

Sony doesn't do a lot of those so "casual" gamers think "This game looks cool" then they see xbox advertised right after make the connection between xbox and game 'x'.

The only reason you see games like Gears 1, Halo 3 and Gears 2 do the numbers they do (Gears 2 will most likely sell the same) is because MS does not really have that much games. Where the PS3 would relesase 5 to 6 pretty big games, MS would release about 1 HUGE game and thats it. They put every thing they got in that one game. Remember all the commercials for Gears and Halo, not remember the PGR4 commericals? They find about 2 games to hype and thats it. If the PS3 were to do this they would be showning commercials for Warhawk, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Ratchet, Motorstorm etc. They really have too many games to advertise they way MS does. Its not really right for Sony to advertise more for lets say Resistance then Killzone.

MS games sell that way because you really don't have much of a choice. Its either Gears/Halo or Mass Effect/Fable you don't have that much to look foward to but those 2 games at a time. Thats why they care about forced unleashed cause PS3 owners are saving up For LBP, Socom, Res2, Motorstorm 2, Valkyrie Chronicals, etc. 360 owners just got 2 games and some 3rd party stuff that will be on PS3 anyway. I think is better not to put all your eggs in one basket.

...fail to recognize one thing: 360 gamers BUY MORE GAMES PERIOD. Exclusives, Multiplats, XBLA...it doesn't matter...the 360 leads this gen in software sales. Devs know it, publishers know it, reviewers know it. Sony marketed the PS3 as a Blu-Ray player first, multimedia/PC second...and gaming console LAST. MS has pushed the GAMES with 360, from day 1...and it's paid off.

anyway, on topic, it doesn't surprise me that the numbers would be more on the 360. the install base is bigger.

of course, considering how big the install base is over the PS3, i'd expect the 360 version to have sold more over the PS3 version than what it did.

in either case, it doesn't matter; the Force Unleashed is a flawed but fun game. i'm personally enjoying the PSP version more than the PS3 AND 360 version, oddly enough.

as more PS3's and 360's are sold, the numbers will go up. no need to burst into flamewars about which console is better.

the PS3 came out a FULL YEAR after the 360. it's still catching up, and doing a rather impressive job of it, at that.

LOL! so true its like just cause 2 games do 5 to 6 million they feel they won something. 5 to 6 million only bought it cause there was really nothing out on there system to even buy. On PS3 there are some many good exclusives that no one really buys one over the other. I own Warhawk and Resistance, i would not put one over the other i like them both. PS3 owners just have a crap load of games to play where 360 owners have nothing but 1 game at a time to like along with 3rd party games. That why they get so happy to see Forced unleashed, they don't have LBP to be excited for.

I beat the PS3 version with NO bugs!

My friend got the 360 version and said there were a TON of bugs! He said multiple times he fell through the map after being melee'd.

I loved the PS3 version! 9/10!

It runs NICE! Even though 360 was the lead console the PS3 version actually runs better so go figure.

Games like Uncharted, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank (better than any 360 platformer), Warhawk, Socom (even the beta is addicting), and others are massively fun.
