Here's our final verdict on Nintendo's ambitious hybrid gaming device.

Cole Young almost made the jump from movie newcomer to game canon in Mortal Kombat 1, but a last-minute time crunch shut it down.

A rare first-party Nintendo games sale has just gone live on Amazon with around a dozen of the company's titles discounted.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
I grew up with Nintendo, and bought all their consoles and games. I even bought wii, but the wii was the final straw.
They left their core fans behind in search of the mainstream. They appeal to them more and constantly screw over the fans that got them to where they were (on top, as leaders of the industry). But now nintendo is a shadow of what it once was, and in constant need of approval from the mainstream and casuals. It was a hard fall from the top. And the Nintendo nx/switch was a beacon of hope. Maybe it was time nintendo got their stuff together and learned from the failure of the wiiu. But no. And most of the people that flock to buy and defend whatever nintendo does are just enablers. They are the ones who let nintendour think they can get away with anything.
They refuse to get with the time. Time and time again they release these weak consoles from the dark ages.
Where is the trophy/achievement equivalent? Where is a larger hard drive?
Where is my bluray/3d blu ray player?
Where is a proper network/online?
Still with the friend codes?
Where are proper apps and programs?
Party chat?
7.1 surround sound?
Cloud saves?
Save data transfers? (What if my system bricks?)
Graphics?
Performance?
Voice acting in games like zelda?
I really liked this review, focused on the console's strengths without sugarcoating it's flaws. General consensus seems to be that it's an amazing handheld but a poor home console. Seeing how Nintendo have stated multiple times that it's not a 3DS successor and first and foremost a home console, it'll be interesting to see how the future of the device plays out.
that's what you get when you are delusional+got wayyy to much money on your hand. you are surrounded by yes-sirs and you are producing flop after flop after flop. until the resources are gone and they'll have to go full circle and produce rice cookers again. no, i am clearly exaggerating. except that they are delusional, that's the sad truth.
Very precise review.
