I ordered a $10 tempered glass protector before i knew about this like my other portable devices but that's a pretty ridiculous oversight/design flaw, they should be sending every owner some kind on protection for inside the dock or a free protector.
Would be nice if they included the screen protector but basically, it forces the consumer to buy more accessories to it. More money to waste....
