That's a really bad bug. Glad it didn't affect me but it's always crap when this sort of thing happens to gamers on release, especially something looked forward to as horizon. Hopefully the fix is found and patched soon!
Haven't started mine yet. Fingers crossed it ok. Worst case, skip the intro and just watch it on YouTube. At least you can still play it.
