Why should it be delayed? We donxt know when development started on thisn how far along it is, or really anything. For all we know they could be more than ready to launch later this year.

So delay this game because Street Fighter V was underwhelming? That really doesn't add up...

Street Fighter V only got lambasted the way it did because of lack of content, for example story mode at launch.

If Capcom's truly learned from that, they will have all the content that SHOULD be there already set up.

IF they can't do that, ONLY THEN should they push it back

Man I just can't rap my excitement around this game, everything looks so clunky. I randomly played the recent guilty gear at a friends house and sweet zombie Jesus it looks beautiful. I immediately thought how gorgeous and how right it would fit the whole marvel vs capcom franchise but sadly it seems they'll be going with boring , simple , and down right childish looking models

Swiftfox3280d ago

Capcom has had the habit of trying to make their games as cheaply as possible. To this end, they tend to take existing assets over creating new ones. Most if not all of the returning cast for this title will be models lifted straight from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Even Mega Man X is simply Zero's Mega Man skin from UMVC3.

This worked in the older games like MVC2 because the character designs where the same as the comics and the arcade games people already loved. Since they're using the rather simple models from UMVC3, they have to design and model new characters in the same fashion for the sake of unity.

If it needs it? What would delaying it for no reason accomplish?
