Despite some skepticism surrounding its launch, Michael Pallanti thinks the Nintendo Switch will be a hit. Find out why here.

Nintendo Switch after huge success is finally coming to China. This will be a Chinese version of the Nintendo Switch, which is being featured by Chinese Mega Giant Company Tencent and Nintendo. Additionally, it’ll have a price point of 2,099 Yuan ($297), including a free copy of New Super Mario Bros Deluxe. This is the …

"When Three Houses was announced for the Nintendo Switch, I was more hyped for this than almost any game currently available on the platform. While its story doesn’t quite live up to the previous entries I’ve enjoyed, mostly due to some poorly handled reveals and its failure to offer us up a compelling villain, Three Houses succeeds greatly due to its vast replayability with new game plus, and yet another memorable cast to add to the franchise. The game deals keep on coming in 2019 with awesome savings on PS4, Xbox One and the Switch.
instead of save, i see spend during the sales.
but great deals overall. bought Spiderman.
he said (nearly) the same about the wii U :/
Lets talk in a year . The first wiiu year was great and it had bigger 3rd party games
The article assumes 'continuity' is a big, desirable thing. Not really.
Most people don't want to or can't use the thing on the go.
Especially when it means you have to completely neuter it's power, raise the cost of it, and pack in less to the box.
Then he gets delusional saying Switch's lineup matches PS4/XB1. Absolutely delusional. Wii U/PS4/XB1... ANY of them blow away Switch's launch. It's not even close. Switch has Zelda. Everything else is clearly 2nd or 3rd tier and there's only a few of them, what nine games? Then he actually says... Switch's maybe better then them. Completely delusional.
The PS4/XB1 had system sellers... they're called 3rd party games. Like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield. THOSE ARE SYSTEM SELLERS. They and others are why Sony and Microsoft vastly outsells Nintendo.
Then he says 'steady release'. Which means the 'talking point' of holding games back so there isn't a 'long drought' is somehow actually a good thing. You get the same amount of games, just some later.... and that somehow means not a drought. Seriously you can't be any more of a fanboy if you think holding games back for a later release means something positive.
It also assumes that every game on that small list of games on Switch for 2017 actually releases in 2017. Some won't, it happens to all platforms. But for Switch, since it has so few, the impact of each one that ultimately doesn't, will mean much more.
Then he forgets to mention that the competitors sitting next to the Switch... has all the games people want, has 500 GB's of storage, has a pro controller included, plus a game (like Call of Duty; a system seller) and costs LESS then a Switch.
This is the problem with so many peoples perspectives, they actually think the minority is the majority. They think their niche will be mainstream. It's not going to be.
Switch is great for the niche that wants to game on the go, but for most people who prefer to play a console at home, it simply doesn't stack up well.
