But Aloy will always be a part of the saga, says Guerrilla's Angela Gillespie.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

Today, Koei Tecmo announced its financial results for the full fiscal year 2025, related to the period between April 2025 and March 2026.
Aloy should be the lead.. Afterall she is the new icon of Playstation ..
No thanks. If you spend so much time crafting a great character then use them for as long as you can.
Remember when we got Raiden in MGS2...didn't go down too well.
I remember not thinking as much of Borderlands 2 or L4D2 because they switched characters on us, not the only reason of course but it was one of them. It's better to expand on what you have then quickly changing it to something else.
I do think they need to introduce someone in the sequel which resembles Jon Snow :')
Hmmmm, I rather have them stick with Aloy if I'm honest. She is obviously the iconic character for Horizon Zero Dawn so why bother having different protagonists. The game has a very clear identity of the world and lead character, why change it? That's like saying we're going to use a brand new character for the Witcher series or maybe playing as someone else in God of War. It's fine if they maybe change protagonist down the road after a few sequels, but i don't want them doing it right now.
by way the reception the games already getting it.d be like wanting GoW without kratos or uncharted without drake
I would gladly accept a male lead for the sequel if we ever get one honestly.
