Horizon: Zero Dawn: Review | Stevivor

Steve Wright: Once you see through its flash, Zero Dawn comes off a bit tired, rehashing concepts you’ve seen before. Its true failing is its everything but the kitchen sink mentality; if a little focus was applied, this would have been spectacular, not merely satisfactory. That’s said, let’s not mourn what could have been — just yet, anyway — and celebrate what is a decent groundwork for something bigger and better to come.

It is literally always stevivor

Looks like stevivor is to Horizon what Polygon was to TLOU. Regardless, it's reviewing exceptionally.

I honestly don't think it's bad review. We can't expect every single person to like every game that comes out.
Congrats GG.

Rofl. Seriously. Not every game is a classic. 7.0 and up for a new ip is an excellent start, solid building ground

@xtreemGamer
Why does it matter what console its on??? That is not even a factor. 7 means we get a sequal.. and usually improvements. Just like quantum break got 7s and sunset over drive and various other games.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing37d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit37d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing37d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9237d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
