According to Capcom, this is very capable system and very attractive to 3rd parties and EASY to develop for. I'm almost convinced he Switch will be a great success.

I always felt the Wii U and the 3DS was underrated as far as exclusives, therefore, I am not worried about quality games for the switch. I am just hoping hardcore gamers will buy this.

Never judge a book by its cover. Just look at the back cover, and judge it by that.

I went to the event here in Chicago today, they stated that passes would be given out at 8am, but when we got there, we found out that they gave out all the passes at 6am! I went to the Wii U event years ago and don't recall having any problems getting in. I think they may have changed their marketing people or the marketing company changed employees.

The marketing company then told us to "leave, no one else is getting in". They were quite nasty in doing so. It was really a bummer. I've been a loyal Nintendo fan since 1986 (have had EVERY system). So this was not cool. There was A LOT of un-happy Nintendo fans there, to boot!

I want one, but have Wii U, so I am going to wait till fall. There are no games that I MUST HAVE. For anyone that does not have Wii U, MK8 alone makes it worth a purchase. I am unsure if I will buy BOTW for Wii U, or wait till I get a Switch.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
