Mega Man 9 is exactly what hardcore gamers were hoping it would be, as Capcom has come out of the gate with a game that's full of nostalgia and fan-service, but also one that truly does rival the best in the franchise's 8-bit roots. If you look at this game as a time warp into the NES era, it's one of the top titles out there, as it's hard as hell, somehow fresh in design (even though there have been well over 100 Mega Man games in 15 years), and simply a blast to rip through.

Overall -

Like any franchise, there are entries in the mainline Mega Man series have proved better than others, either because of how much they did (or didn't) alter the gameplay design philosophy that made it legendary in the industry. Today, we've got every mainline entry in the series ranked from worst to best.

Neil writes: "Let's be honest - the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale last week was a bit rubbish. Yeah there were a few titles worth taking a punt on but the vast majority saw non-appealing discounts and the lack of super cheap pocket money games was noticeable.
We can forget about all that now though as the Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 3rd-9th July 2018 is now in place and it is bringing a whole new range of discounts to both Xbox One and Xbox 360 players. Want to check out the full list of games on sale?"
Several of these games have been on GWG, Slime Rancher and Super Mega Baseball 2. Others are on Gamepass. There is an Anime sale going on with up to 75% off. Fifa 18 at just 15quid, although I'll wait until it's in the EA Access Vault and get it for free.

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "The official end of the WiiWare service may not be until early 2019 but we wanted to give everybody as much of a chance as possible to remember all of the great games that Nintendo’s first every download service brought us. Last week we counted down the first 10 games in our look at the Top 20 WiiWare games ever made, and if you haven’t had the chance yet you can check out those picks right here but now we switch our focus over to the very best that WiiWare has to offer so if you still have a Wii (or a Wii U) kicking around make sure to download these games before they are lost forever."
pretty good review. I notice that graphics is low on there, i mean it is suppose to recapture the old 8 bit game, isnt it?
Haha, awesome graphics for an NES game. the first Mega Man(Rock Man) was the first game I ever finished, I have to play this one, it should bring back some awesome memories.
IMO, this game is just a cheap tactic from Capcom to exploit the nostalgic feeling of the old school gamers.
Games like Bionic Commando Rearmed are the classics worthy of time and money of gamers not these games.
Megaman X (the best game in the series) had a whole new and improved graphic design. They could have made the game have that design, but it would have been more expensive. THis is just a cheap way of getting more money.
Maybe its me but I think every Megaman games are cool.
I wonder if people are going to qualify this game as a FLOP i mean it scored a 8.6 right? oh maybe they wont because its on both PSN and XBL and Wiiware.
Im of to another thread with my MAX SPEED!!!
