Cole Young almost made the jump from movie newcomer to game canon in Mortal Kombat 1, but a last-minute time crunch shut it down.

A rare first-party Nintendo games sale has just gone live on Amazon with around a dozen of the company's titles discounted.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Nintendo's fault really, in 2017 it's impossible to keep these sort of things all hush hush, especially so close to launch.
"If you’re buying a car, you don’t ask “what kind of glue is holding the windshield in place?”. It’s not that the car manufacturer wants to “hide” this information from you, it’s just not that important enough to the value proposition of the product to be shouting it from the rooftops."
oh please, as if its unreasonable to ask the saleman what kind of engine it has. we are not talking about glue holding a windshield, what an asinine analogy. it's nintendo who is fearful of specs leaking and that is on them, indie developers will make great games on switch and the power is secondary i agree. the power is what it is and developers will have to use the benefits of what makes switch different to their advantage.
consumers have a right to know what they are buying and when nintendo hides things i too would be cautious. so dont blame the leaks, blame nintendo for not being transparent about it.
Nintendo need to stop being so secretive & show some confidence in their products.
In my opinion the Switch looks like a great system with huge potential, yet Nintendo alone are making me doubt this opinion.
At this point, Nintendo should just embrace what it brought to the table and go from there. Impossible to hide the specs for too long.
Nintendo officially revealed the specs. For a handheld the specs are pretty damn good.
