Playing this game on psvr is amazing and i cant play the game on a television anymore after playing it in vr

I played through my first playthrough on my TV, but will give a second playthrough a go on my PSVR.

I did the same thing, trust me it's worth a second play through in VR. Also, if you have a PS4 Pro you'll be even more appreciative. I played through about the first half of the game on a standard PS4, then I upgraded to a PS4 Pro last week and it truly makes a difference. Everything is brighter and clearer. I'm not saying it's a world of difference, but you can definitely tell the difference between the two systems on VR.

if they made this game vr only that will help vr take off even more. the title should also clarify this is only psvr for now because sony got a timed exclusive deal.

Resident evil 7 in VR is hands down one of the most fun and unique experiences I've had with a video game in a long time. Yes the game looks better on the tv but it doesn't matter. Feeling like I'm actually in that house with that family of psychos is a blast and everything I imagined VR could be.

It's best not played at all.

Trolling like always..... Do you even have a life?

Natversion13398d ago

Would love too but Sony decided to fuck around and throw money for exclusivity for a niche market in it's infancy so fuck me right.

Well you are a bundle joy. Wow. Go to your safe space.

Are you planning on playing it on your Rift? I wonder how much longer that'll be around since they lost to ZeniMAX in court.

Tussin1873398d ago

Yes because none of the other VR systems have exclusives. Right?!?!

It's more intensely creepy and you definitely feel more involved with VR. Graphics are stepped back obviously and at times you can see how the 3d environments were pieced together with 2d images. But nonetheless, it's an awesome experience to be had!

Good list but Thrill of the Fight 2 and Racket Club should be in this. TOFT 2 is one hell of a work out and even found myself watching boxing instructional videos in order to improve. Racket Club does an amazing job adapting tennis, badminton and pickleball into something that feels realistic but fits in with smaller VR spaces.

Both of these are great games!

TOFT has already featured in 131XR's 'best' series: https://youtu.be/jExm8PbCVq...

Review - Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (Switch 2) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "It’s been nearly ten years, but Resident Evil 7 hasn’t aged a day. Its brand new Switch 2 port not only showcases that its gameplay is still fresh and tense after all these years, but also showcases how well Nintendo’s portable can handle some of the more demanding games from the previous generation, with a handful of improvements to make it look as good as its current-gen counterparts. There’s also the fact there’s a ton of extra content for you to enjoy, from videos to entire new modes and side campaigns, so this is a worthy inclusion to the Switch 2’s currently minute library, and a great excuse for you to replay one of the most important horror games released in recent memory."
