For Honor Beta Impressions

Trysten writes "For Honor will soon be releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC...but how did the recent Closed Beta go?"

I'm guessing there is no single player campaign included in either the closed or upcoming open beta? That's all I'm interested in tbh.

Correct. None of the beta's have any single player. That's part of the issue with the review copies not going out until after the game ships. No idea on how long the single player is.

There is a single player story, it's just not in the beta! Personally i don't expect too much from the story though, its main focus is the multiplayer it seems :)

What makes you say that? When they first showed it I didn't even think it would have a multiplayer or at least it would just be tacked on.

I played the beta for about 45 minutes when I got bored with it. Capture point A now run over and capture point B, oh wait I have to recapture point A, now I have to recapture point B.. etc etc. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I noticed a couple things wrong in this write up right away. Dominion is 4v4 not 3v3, and a Faction War season is 10 weeks not 14, rounds are 2 weeks, and turns are six hours(they had the turns correct). Quit reading since I seem to know more about the game than the author does.
